Islanders Bolero 15 Kayak, a classic styled touring kayak is both a great investment and a solid performer. Ideal for both sea and inland waters is is both fast and stable making day expeditions easy and enjoyable. With its stable, rounded hull it cuts through the water with ease helped to no small amount by the integral drop down skeg which provides directional control in choppier waters.
The easily accessible cockpit benefits from a comfortable padded and moulded seat as well as an adjustable supportive backrest, thigh pads, multi position foot rests and even a cup holder.
For storage the Bolero has access to its cargo areas via a 10” domed bow hatch and large oval rear hatch. In addition it possesses forward and aft deck bungies for stowing those on the go items.
Safety comes from the stable design, adjustable foot rests and inbuilt buoyancy and security from a weather resistant integral anodised lock bar allowing the kayak to be secured to a roof rack or dock side furniture when temporarily unattended.

Islander Kayaks are based and manufactured down in the Westcountry at the factory in Clevedon, Somerset, England. They only make kayaks and not wheelie bins, unlike many manufacturers. As a result the kayaks are really built to last. They are all made and assembled by hand at the Islander factory by skilled staff. Islander fit only premium parts to their kayaks. Such parts include corrosion resistant stainless fixtures: moulded in brass captive nuts, and premium Palm backrests.
