Description
Islander Strike Angler Sit on Top Kayak
Islanders Strike Angler Kayak is a ready to go fishing . It has the specific features so demanded by fishermen together with a host of other useful attributes found in all the islander ranger making is a true all round performer.
A major factor considered by fisherman is stability and as such the pontoon style hull offers enough superior buoyancy to actually stand and cast or paddle like a stand up paddle board. This same hull also offers very little paddling resistance allowing the Strike to glide through the water. With the paddler sitting low in the boat and all the buoyancy on the rounded sides its lateral stability is indeed very good – a very important factor when reeling in a big fish.
To aid fishing the kayak comes with a multi position scotty rod holder and two rear flush deck rod holders. To carry all the gear you need there is a wide deep well with lashing bungies on the rear deck of the Strike. There is also a central 6” mid hatch with pull out bag and forward large doomed bow hatch with access to the hold. Needless to say there is a drinks bottle holder too.
Comfort wise Islanders Strike Angler Kayak has a padded adjustable seat with backrest, multi position side lock foot rests and plenty of deck quick drain features.
