The Chinook range of inflatable kayaks was designed for the quality conscious family where durability and ease of use are paramount. With an open canoe type layout paddlers can jump in and out the boat with ease whilst experiencing being as close to the wonderful outside environment as possible.
The Aquaglide Chinook 120 Kayak is a great family three seat inflatable open kayak. Up to three people can enjoy it subject to is maximum 250kg capacity. The kayak comes with two full supportive seats and a central saddle which allows you to take two adults and a small person or furry friend.
Features
Hardwearing 600 denier hex ripstop polyester cloth covers the three inflation bladders for safety. This cloth protects the kayak from abrasion and damage. In addition, the under hull covering is both strong and smooth. Consequently the hull is ideal for gliding through the water as well as being directionally stable due to the detachable skeg.
On board are many handy features. Firstly at the bow and stern are elasticated luggage nets. Secondly, the paddles can be placed out of the way whilst carrying the boat or taking a drink whilst paddling. This done by using the two paddle keepers located on each side of the kayak. Thirdly, there are four, hand friendly, carry handles for portage. Finally, the kayak also has a useful rear cargo stowage area which also sports a cockpit drain. The Chinook seating is very comfortable and supportive. The seats have a cushioned base and stiff backrest. In addition they come with rod holders. Both seats are adjustable for position as are the foot rests. Secured by Velcro and straps the seating is very versatile.
