Islander Koa Beach Single Sit on Top Kayak
The Koa Beach single from Islander is a lightweight, super family friendly sit on top kayak. Its great for that chilled out, affordable, simple to manage, fun to paddle day out for the whole family. The Beach is a cost effective entry level to sit on top kayaking. Its simplicity makes it tough and very able to withstand the hard work families can put it through as well as being far more resilient to being left outside when not in use. With a capacity of 115kg, comfortable moulded integral seat, back rest and multi position footrests, the Koa suits many shapes and sizes of paddler. Being very stable, the Koa has a highly buoyant multi-chine hull with direction controlling full keel. The wave piercing high bow is combined with the free draining deck and scupper holes to help keep you dry.
To store those essentials for the trip the Koa benefits from a large rear deck well together with a forward deck storage to hold you paddle when not in use. Both storage areas have useful securing bungies as standard. The Koa is also great for transportation as it has front, rear and side carry handles and anodised security bar to help lock the kayak to the roof rack, dingy rack or handy tree when unattended.

Islander Kayaks are based and manufactured down in the Westcountry at the factory in Clevedon, Somerset, England. They only make kayaks and not wheelie bins, unlike many manufacturers. As a result the kayaks are really built to last. They are all made and assembled by hand at the Islander factory by skilled staff. Islander fit only premium parts to their kayaks. Such parts include corrosion resistant stainless fixtures: moulded in brass captive nuts, and premium Palm backrests.
